How to Clean a Malware Infected PC

We often use different tools to protect out computer machine from threats. Since, every operating system has some security features, but manual care is always needed. At times, certain malicious programs are installed on your system without your consent. These programs are harmful for your PC and can create disaster in the data. Furthermore, your vital data is hacked and can be misused anywhere by the affecting malware. Therefore, you need to check and scan the system in order to remove it. As malware can make chaos in the operating system, therefore make sure you have the updated security programs installed.

  1. Suspicious E-mails
  2. Unknown Websites
  3. Unprotected USB Drives
  4. Crack Programs

Verify If Your System Is Infected:

When your system do not behave normal and perform slow, do not blame it for a virus attack. In addition, there are many reasons for the problem. Therefore, first make sure, if your system in infected by the virus or malware and then take proper action.

Follow the procedure:

  1. Launch Windows Task Manager
  2. Navigate to the “Processes” tab
  3. Check if there is any Unknown Program running on your System
  4. (You will find programs with unknown and non-categorized authority, listed in the description)
  5. Select and click End Process.
  6. If you are not sure about the program, follow the next step

Make Sure The Symptoms Of Malware:

If there is a real attack of the malware on your system, it will not allow you to remove it. Moreover, it will not appreciate your security program to launch or perform. You can also find any pop up program with blinking warnings asking you to run executable file. Furthermore, it may ask for your confidential data, therefore do not provide any information.

Scan You System In Safe Mode With Networking:

In normal Windows, malware will not allow your antivirus/scanner to launch. Therefore, use the minimal version of the Windows, which is Safe Mode. It will not upload all startup programs and infecting agents like malware. Follow the procedure:

  1. Restart your System
  2. Press f8 key
  3. You will enter into the “Boot Options Menu”
  4. Select “Safe Mode With Networking” from the list
  5. Once you entered in Safe Mode, launch default “Internet Explorer”
  6. Look for the best Security Program.
  7. Download and Install
  8. Run the program to Scan your system thoroughly
  9. Once you are sure that your system is now cleaned, restart the system, and enter into the normal Windows
  10. Uninstall the security program, get the latest version, and run again.

Clean Windows Registry:

You need to clean your Windows registry, because it has the stored information and setting about the system. There is chance that it may be affected with malware and system disturbance. Therefore, download the reliable registry optimizer from the net. Install and run to clean the registry from virus entries.
